Fishing Rod Holder on a Platfrom.

While it's not as straightforward as mounting one to bars it is possible to attach a fishing rod holder to most platforms. The 572 is our most popular rod holder and can be attached to any platform with horizontal planks, such as the Yakima or Wedgetail, without any additional components required. If you have a Pioneer or Titan platform where the planks run north-south along the vehicle you will need to use this bracket to side-mount it 43159. 

This does mean the rod holder mounts off the side of the platform if this isn't an option because of possible issues with the vehicle or awnings and stuff already mounted off the side then, only for the Pioneer this product could be an option 43232B.
