Do I need a Wind Deflector/Fairing to stop noise from my Roof Basket?

As on most vehicles when you start carrying cargo in your Roof Basket there is a chance that you might get some wind noise when traveling.

You can purchase Wind Deflectors/Fairings that may help reduce the wind noise you are getting. These would normally attach to the Roof Racks to help push the air up over the basket, but these could also be attached to some baskets directly.

The other option is if you don’t already have a basket and are worried about potential wind noise you may look at purchasing a Roof Basket that has a built-in Wind Deflector/Fairing.

In some cases, these deflectors can also be removed to allow longer loads to be carried in the Roof Baskets.
