First thing you will need to make sure is that you have a set of Roof Racks on your vehicle. Fitting a Roof Box/Pod after you have installed your roof racks is easy as most of the Roof Boxes come with what is known as a Quick Claw mounting system. The Quick Claw feeds through a slot inside the Roof Box and has two claws that wrap around the Roof Rack. To tighten the Quick Claws, you just twist the tension ring until it clicks and its then all tight and ready to go.
The other way that Roof Boxes attach to your Roof Racks is using a U-bolt kit. There are multiple holes in the base of the Roof Box to allow for different roof rack spacings, so all you have to do is place your Roof Box onto the Roof Racks align two of the predrilled holes either side of the rack feed the U-bolt up through the holes and do up from the inside of the Roof Box/Pod.
In most cases your vehicle will require you to install a Roof Rack system which can be mounted different ways depending on what vehicle you have. There are a few exceptions where your vehicle will have roof rails that can be unclicked and will swing across the vehicle and turn into Roof Racks these are called Flick Rails, with these your Roof Box will clamp straight to the Roof Racks using the Quick Claws or U-bolt systems.
